Summer Mountains

I have been trying to make the most of my summer with what spare time I have. Two weekends ago I went to the mountains nearby. It was absolutely beautiful and I miss the sweet mountain air so terribly right now. There were wildflowers growing, and I was able to go for a bicycle adventure with my love. We rode through forest and meadows, and discovered a pathway to the lake. We spent time with my parents and cooked some delicious, homemade food on the barbecue. It was a much-needed camping trip, though I wish it could have lasted longer. Untitled

You must go camping again. It is so nice to have a break from the busy life and just relax and sleep in a beautiful place.

I love bicycling in gorgeous scenery! It is totally the most freeing experience!

  4. Those wildflowers are so beautiful and that is one amazingly huge pine-cone! I love the faded quality of your photos so much, makes me feel like I'm in a day dream or in a nostalgic place. It looks so idyllic. I'm happy to have stumbled across your blog! xx

    1. Hi Lindsey! And likewise! I've been following your posts for a short while now. You are just so adorable and I love your photos!

I wanted to collect so many pine cones but had very limited space to bring any back with me! However, I did make a flower arrangement with a water bottle as a vase for our camping table centerpiece. It felt just like home!

Thank you for your kind words!
