I have certainly tried my best to have some peaceful moments to myself this summer, whether it be making delicious teas, a marvelous strawberry & honey jam, or just flipping through poetry or taking a nap. I've tried to relax with what spare time I have had. Calmness is so important and I cannot have enough. I shall keep this short and sweet!
I can completely relate to the need for peaceful moments. I think I'm anxious by nature, and grad school this year didn't help matters. I've been spending the past week or two going to art galleries and botanical gardens, and it's been pretty great.
Calm moments have to be my favourites...oh how I yearn for summer! These photos are giving me so much inspiration

It is so neat to think it is a whole different season somewhere else! I can't wait for Winter once-more :)

ReplyDeleteChristy,
DeleteI am anxious by nature too! Our souls need this beauty and relaxation to revive!
I love to relax by reading and drinking tea, too! I always feel so calm. These shots are lovely.
